Houses of Prayer
Jesus said; My House shall be called a house of prayer for all nations. Mark 11
A house of prayer has to be that. There is no move of God without prayer. Prayer is central to any work of God in our lives. Breathing is essential but it seems we live the life of God without breathing.
A House of Prayer for the nations
The house of prayer must have a global vision, to be moved on by the Lord to pray for the nations...this will cause angels to go forth and minister, even if the local people lack faith, lack holiness, to go and minister to those who are seeking, to promote change, social justice, and social action. There can be no prayer that does not accompany the works, and vice versa.
A House of Prayer for the Bride
The Church, is the Bride, the Church is a gathering together, a calling out. This means that the identity of the Church is the Bride of Christ. Once we think of the intimacy of this concept we cannot remain within our "walls of tradition in our prayers." We must first move out from religious tradition. We must stop looking at revival as a mountain to climb, but rather coming down the mountain keeping the glory of God and spreading it out in the valley. The Church has lost this concept in many places. We must pray that believers everywhere sense the call of the Spirit to cry out and birth in us the PROPHETIC CALL: THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY COME! This is a prophetic birthing that must happen in our days...that is OUR DESIRE FOR JESUS' COMING IN REFRESHINGS, AND ULTIMATELY HIS COMING UPON THE EARTH. The Spirit cries out for Christ's coming to initiate a new age of perfection and recover what was lost with man: communion and intimacy without measure. Hence the houses of prayer, a network of them, praying on this measure, will cause a Prophetic voice to arise within the nations. There are paradigm shifts that are occurring now. These can only happen as we enter into a revelation of Jesus as the Bridegroom, coming to unite with us, and ourselves as the Bride of Christ, who effects change here and now. When we enter into that love relationship with Him to the point that a CRY IS BIRTHED IN OUR HEARTS.
A House of Prayer for the nation of Israel
The scripture talks of two olive trees, two witnesses, and I believe these speak of the Bride and the nation of Israel, they shall have a terrifying effect on the world in the last days, because of their prophetic authority. Any house of prayer must have a vision of Israel's place in the prophetic purposes of God!! Who does not have this, I doubt the measure of their intercessory call, and would pray that God show this. Israel for me is God's elect nation, and the Bride God's elect Priesthood. Therefore we must have a firm vision of the end time roles each play.
A House of Prayer for Revival
The nations need a movement of the Spirit, so that communities, governments are totally affected. This outpouring will only come when we seriously
take pray as our first priestly function, beyond that of intimate prayer with God, to the ministry of prayer accross the Body. The Lord wants to renew and restore His People. Prayer houses are vehicles for this to happen.
House of Prayer for Prophetic Ministry
The effect of intercession, its ardent nature, its depth, gives birth to the prophetic, which speaks and affects the present so that in the future, whether it be short term or long term, we see God's purposes worked out in individuals, communities, and nations.
